I'm blogging as part of a Murdoch Library staff training initiative (23 things). However I'm thinking that I can use this forum to explore a passion and love and that is Bookelling in WA - and anywhere else for that matter.
I would be interested in having your comments on this subject as well as your feedback on my posts.
I will post next on the end of Mainly Books that ceased trading a few weeks back.

- Born 1951 and grew up in country WA (Bunbury). Since 1974 he has worked as a University Reference Librarian at Murdoch University. Grant is currently the Scholarly Resources Librarian. Since 1974 Grant has been building Murdoch’s Popular Culture Collections particularly in the areas of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Comic material, alternative counter culture and social change materials. Grant is a regular contributor to public radio and an authority on science fiction, fantasy and children’s literature. He has presented the nationally broadcast, weekly ‘Faster Than Light’ radio show for the last 30 years. Grant has been instrumental in the formation of Laugh WA Inc and is currently its Convenor as well as Laughter Leader of the Perth Laughter Club. Grant is also a PhD candidate and has for the last 10 years, in various states of enrolment been exploring the nature of what makes things popular in popular culture. His thesis is entitled ‘Barbie : an ecology of Popular Culture’.
